Samuel Cole Morris

I produce and direct in New York. The work runs from brand films for Gabriela Hearst, ALLSAINTS, and Issey Miyake to music videos, live sessions, and narrative shorts. I studied film at NYU. I founded Ooof Studio, known as OOOF & The Walrus.

What a producer does, in plain terms

• Budget. Every dollar is a creative decision. I build budgets line by line and protect them.
• Crew. I hire the right people and keep them pointed at the same film.
• Logistics. Locations, permits, gear, schedules. The unglamorous work that decides whether a shoot succeeds.
• Problems. Something always goes wrong. Panic is a failure of leadership. My job is to absorb the chaos so the set never feels it.

Turning an idea into a finished film is complicated, expensive, and full of surprises. My job is to make it none of those things for you. You hold the vision. I carry the details.
